For the past couple of years, in my spare time, I have been slowly working to fulfill a long-time dream of developing a hands-on science program to bring into the classrooms of our elementary school-aged children. Particularly to the smaller rural and more remote schools that often don’t have access to some of the existing programs either because of geographic or financial limitations.

How cool would it be to have real scientists visit and teach our children (but in a fun interactive way)?

I am now ready to move a step closer to this dream.

I’m looking for parents, teachers, members of our community and even students who would be willing to share with me what they would like to see in the classrooms of our young children, from a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) perspective.

Or if you are an elementary school teacher in Lennox & Addington or Frontenac Counties in Eastern Ontario (i.e., near or in either the Limestone District School Board or the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board) who would like me to visit your classroom, don't hesitate to get in touch!
